  • John Paul is an Associate (designate) at Power Singh Inc. He holds LL.B. (with Distinction), LL.M. in Public International Law, and Ph.D. (Corporate Criminal Liability in International law) degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand.

    John Paul focuses on constitutional and public international law, administrative law, information and media law, competition law, and business and human rights, with a particular interest in corporate accountability and competition policy. He is also a Senior Researcher at ALT Advisory (2019-) and a member of the Global Business and Human Rights Scholars Association (Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University).

    Before joining Power Singh Inc., John Paul worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the South African Institute for Advanced Constitutional Public, Human Rights & International Law, a Centre of the University of Johannesburg (SAIFAC) (2016), a lecturer at Strathmore University, Kenya (2015), and a Senior Research and Teaching Associate at the University of the Witwatersrand (2012-4).

    John Paul completed his articles of clerkship at Tshisevhe Gwina Ratshimbilani Inc. (TGR Attorneys) (2017-8).
